Question about JVC AM FM CD DET FACE CAR STEREO

Remove unit, read instructions line for line and find out what screws were installed incorrectly or which are needed.
Take the the harness and check each wire for proper connection. I always solder and heat shrink mine to a sub harness and then the stock wiring harness stays stock.
Try the stereo out again but do not install it all the way this time. hold it and try the cd. If it works, you probably had the chassis binding or something. Too much pressure somewhere.
Or it is a bad unit that needs to be returned.
