Try deleting your cashe and browser history that did the trick for me

You can get the tag from the BIOS.

Turn on computer then hold down F2.

In the BIOS you can check the tag.

Also in windows you can try to right click on the my computer icon. properties. under computer name it will show you there the computer name check if tag is present.

Or you can call Dell Support then provide you order # then we can check data base for us to see the service tag.

Hi Friend, In this case if you are not able to see the Service tag on the system chasis, you can try to find out the service tag by going into the BIOS settings.
To enter into BIOS:
Turn on the system and start tapping the key "F2" it will take you to tree structured BIOS options. Try to look in for the system information.

Dell Technical Support will request the Service Tag and Express Service Code from the bottom of your Latitude.
If you were not the original owner of the Latitude, Dell will transfer registration of the used Latitude from the original owner with only the Service Tag and Express Service Code from the tag on the laptop.
To transfer the registration of a used Dell Latitude, fill out the Transfer of Ownership form on Dell's web site.
