I guessing your talking about a desk top. check the cable that comes from your monitor and make sure one of the pin inside aren't missing or bent. if bent you can try straightening it out but make sure you unplug the monitor. (i usually use a steak knife or a flathead screw driver). hope this helps. please rate if this helps. thank you.
