this is a very complete review of the product and says about all it can do ...but there isn't anywhere said about a notepad or other capabilities..
If it has in the menu a create new ..note or something like that it means it can do it ..otherwise the copy text is just for to get certain titles and stuff and paste them for searching or in the browser..But I would.t be surprised to be capable cause I seen less performance small mp4 players that could do it ..

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

My nook did a factory reset, where are my books?

If you log into Barnes and Noble under your account, you can retrieve all your items THAT YOU BOUGHT FROM BARNES AND NOBEL. Any thing else, (free ebooks from gutenberg.org for example.) are gone.
You can back up photos, music, and non-Barnes and Noble items to your computer.

Will not stay on unless the charger is plugged in

Your battery is failing.
Either replace the tablet (if still under warranty), or get a new one.
Save all that you can onto another computer, and move the stuff onto your new one. The Barnes and Noble items (ebooks and music) are saved under your account and password at the B&N site.

While it is possible to rip open the tablet to replace the battery, is not recommended. It is a difficult task that will damage the case.

My Nook Library has disappeared on my Nook-how do I restore it?

Download all the archived and unarchived books and save them to your computer. Never deleted these.
You have two options for the archived books.
Un-archive them and they will appear on your nook and download as you see fit.
OR... Sideload them. Which is probably what you did before since archived books already disappear from your My B&N Library and would have had to be in your My Documents Library.
Not exactly sure what you mean by 'does not go to my nook' when you try and save/download from the website.

If still having any kind of issue then you can take nook support from experts or call nook help number.

My granddaughter ordered a book from Barnes and Noble and only half of it came over the lines. Barnes and Noble said it was something that we would have to contact Pan Digital with. Pls let us know. ...

You need to demand B&N let you download the whole thing again for free, there is nothing pandigital could possibly do about it. Also you might want to thank them for giving you the run-around as well. Be assertive, it's all on B&N...

Good luck and don't back down from B&N.

I have a garmin755t and I wondered if you can down load e books as I have some in my computer from barnes & noble and I can't find my book. Can you down load this books in my garmin if so how?

I have never even heard of this working on a gps unit. Not a bad idea though ;-]

I've never seen any option that would allow you to do this. The files that you can download are map files and saved poi's. I haven't seen the ability to read anything else. The display and such would be able to easily handle it but the software to read a ebook file would have to be loaded into the operating system.

I use a palm to read my ebooks. You can get one of those fairly inexpensively. I have a Lifedrive so I can not only read ebooks but watch movies and listen to music as well as just about everything else I do on my laptop.

What is ebook

definition -
An eBook is an electronic version of a traditional print book that can be read by using a personal computer or by using an eBook reader. (An eBook reader can be a software application for use on a computer, such as Microsoft's free Reader application, or a book-sized computer that is used solely as a reading device, such as Nuvomedia's Rocket eBook.) Users can purchase an eBook on diskette or CD, but the most popular method of getting an eBook is to purchase a downloadable file of the eBook (or other reading material) from a Web site (such as Barnes and Noble) to be read from the user's computer or reading device. Generally, an eBook can be downloaded in five minutes or less. Although it is not necessary to use a reader application or device in order to read an Ebook (most books can be read as PDF files), they are popular because they enable options similar to those of a paper book - readers can bookmark pages, make notes, highlight passages, and save selected text. In addition to these familiar possibilities, eBook readers also include built-in dictionaries, and alterable font sizes and styles. Typically, an eBook reader hand-held device weighs from about twenty-two ounces to three or four pounds and can store from four thousand to over half a million pages of text and graphics. A popular feature is its back-lit screen (which makes reading in the dark possible).
Some eBooks can be downloaded for free or at reduced cost, however, prices for many eBooks - especially bestsellers - are similar to those of hardcover books, and are sometimes higher. Most eBooks at Barnes and Noble, for example, are comparable in price to their traditional print versions.
