Olevia 32 inch tv turns itself off after a min everytime i turn it on its 4 years old? what do i do

my olevia a 232 s12 2nd hand tv . gift from a relative wont power on .just had the blue light on.i was able to reset my 32 inch olevia by pressing and holding down the power button much like a computer to reboot.might work for you.

Have the power supply checked for bad capaictors on the power board. Also this board can be purchased for around $100.00 at www.shopjimmy.com

the power supply of your tv is bad try to check the fuses if fuse are open try to replace them with the same value..try to power it on but if the fuse blows again replace the power supply board...

Sounds like you need to download the latest update, unfortunately Olevia went bankrupt and doesn't answer the phone. If I find out anything that is being done to correct the situation, I post it

The first solution was to use the remote controls on the recorders and shuttle from 480p to 720p to 1080i.

The other solution was to run left and right audio cables from the output of the DVD recorder to the audio inputs of the tv. Then, go into the setup menu of the recorder and tell it not to output sound using the HDMI cable.

The first solution has to be done each time the machines are turned on for the first times of a day.

The second solution fixes the problem once and for all....

I have an 32 inch Akai TV/DVD Combo; the TV turns off by itself about every 20-30 min, and when I put in DVD to play, the TV cuts off.

My 3 yr-old 30" Olevia LCD HDTV lost picture after being on for about 1-2 min. Does any one encounters a similar problem or has any suggestion as to how or wherther it can be fixed. Thanks.
