Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

You need to send or take the computer to a Toshiba Certified Service to have the password erased or reset. You may have to prove ownership of the machine, and pay for the service.

do these things with some secure tool such as Intel Software Partner Reginout.

Also update your antivirus program. Thanks

COMPUTER IS DIMEMSION 4700C recently changed carries now using verizon wireless, after downloading computer has only 3 % memory, I did call Dell my computer is out of warranty it will be repaired 4 $89.00...

You just have to clear all you temporary files and such. START/All Programs/Accessories/System Tools/Disk Cleanup, allow it to compile and follow the recommendations. Erase Temp files, log files, etc...Compress unused files as well. After that if you are running any type of internet security suite like mcafee or norton, you can clean all history and temporary internet stuff too. Also, in Internet Explorer, under the tools tab you can clear all history as well.
Start/ Control Panel/Add or Remove Programs icon. In here you can compile a list of software that you use and don't use. If you don't know whether or not you use it, don't uninstall it, but if you do uninstall it.
This should clear enough space for ya.

I believe I erased my sound driver for emachine desktop. Erasing junk and may have erased the driver as well. We can hear computer sounds but no volume for youtube, etc.

you can't erase the driver when it's already installed, anyway try installing realtek driver:
http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsCheck.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=23&PFid=23&Level=4&Conn=3&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false#AC
or you can do System Restore in Control Panel, go to Performance and Maintenance(category view) on the left select System Restore, restore computer to earlier time before you erased files.

This means the engine needs service and once done it needs to be connected to a computer or diagnostic system to erase this light. It is easy step to clear but if you have the right equipment and software you could do it yourself else you will have to pay someone.

I own a Dell Optiplex GX150. I am trying to access the system partition that will allow me to restore back to my factory settings. This computer was purchased back around 2001 and did not arrive with any...

Contact Dell technical support to get the CD read the partition on your hard drive to restore to factory settings. It won't be able to work without one since it has to boot from the CD in order to get it to work.

Presario V5000 -- Junk from BEST BUY

Well Colleen, I thank you for writing this as detailed as possible, You can always run a disk cleanup, (Start > My computer > Right click C: > Properties > Disk Cleanup, Under General Tab)

That will get rid of junk, Or you could Defrag the computer
(Start>My computer> Rightclick C: > Properties > Tools Tab > Defragment now)
Defrag will take all sorts of junk in a file and sort them in a folder, giving your computer more memory, You could also manually delete everything by going to the root of it all, Or you could buy more memory.
