How to use Ccleaner to keep your Computer in good condition

Hi Everyone

I want to explain to you how you use Ccleaner to keep your Computer in good condition.

What is CCleaner ?? Ccleaner is a program that remove the junk files (unnecessary files) from your computer and clean up the registry in a very safe mode.

b11ef09.jpg

You can choose what junk files you want to remove, it is categorized so it is easy to find out ex. if you need the cookies of your Internet Browser you can simply uncheck this feature.
Junk files are coming when you are using the computer, so many programs write temporary files to the computer and after they do not need them any more, but they need it only just at the moment they are being used. Time after time when you use the computer, programs writing new temporary files and the computer starting getting full of this temporary files, that means the computer are getting slower and slower and some times the programs comes up with strange errors not even the support Team can help you with. It is safe to remove the junk files when you are use a recommended program as Ccleaner (I will say it is the best on cleaner).
If you never have removed the junk files on your computer and you use Ccleaner, you will note the difference right after, the computer will run better/faster/more stable.

In Ccleaner there 2 things that are wery inportant to do and are completely safe to do:
1: Junk files cleaner
2: Registry cleaner

About Registry cleaner :

c6b9e48.jpg

Registry cleaner are categorized too, you can see on the picture above how it search in different sections on the registry (Missing Shared DLLs, Unused File Extensions, ActiveX and Class Issues.... etc. You can choose to only take one category at the time or you can select as many you like.Once you have selected the category's(errors/junk) you want to search for, you press on the button down on the screen Called Scan for Issues. After you have done that, Ccleaner start searching in your registry for the checked issues. When it have done that, you can choose to repair the problems, just selecting the Fix the selected Issues. You have the possibility to choose what files you want to delete first. After this you can make a backup of the files before you delete them, in case of any errors you can always restore the files.

defa930.jpg

This is the first registry cleaner I did start with, I still use it once a week and others registry cleaner (more deep search) I do use once a month.
I can fully recommend Ccleaner as registry cleaner, and I did never had problem with it. It is a light registry cleaner and you can safely use it.

Registry's errors are coming when you are upgrading/updating/uninstall and more in the category of software. Many programs are not so good to clean after them self when they uninstall their product, therefore there are a lot of missing registry items and this are making the computer unstable and slow and more. Using reliable registry cleaners can make your computer running as new again :O)

You can find CCleaner here:
http://www.ccleaner.com/

If you want a portable version you can use on your USB storage you can download one of these versions :
http://www.ccleaner.com/download/builds

CCLEANER IS FREE.

One last note : I have been reading in the internet that CCleaner junk cleaner has cleaned Microsoft Office 2003 to good, so they was needed to reinstall the Microsoft Office 2003 again, But my experience is my friend did use it on a destroyed Microsoft Office 2003 and it is running again now without problems, so I let it up to you, if you want to use the feature to clean Office 2003(junk files), you can simply check/uncheck the possibilty. This is only on the junk files and not on the registry files there maybe is a problem, hmm

Have a nice computing.

How to master reset my emachine desk top ? Its very slow

To do a factory resore and remove all data look at the boot up menue it will tell you to push a key generally F10 or F8 to start factory restore.

However you can fix your slow pc with out doing that by running the command "msconfig".

Go to "run" from the start menu
click run and type msconfig in it

next go to that startup tab and disable all.
next look for sound and video drivers (nvidia, ati)that may need to be on. and turn them on
(Things like adobe reader and ms office can be safely turned off and will still run fine)

now reboot you should have a mutch faster pc.

Don't forget to rate.

COMPUTER IS DIMEMSION 4700C recently changed carries now using verizon wireless, after downloading computer has only 3 % memory, I did call Dell my computer is out of warranty it will be repaired 4 $89.00...

You just have to clear all you temporary files and such. START/All Programs/Accessories/System Tools/Disk Cleanup, allow it to compile and follow the recommendations. Erase Temp files, log files, etc...Compress unused files as well. After that if you are running any type of internet security suite like mcafee or norton, you can clean all history and temporary internet stuff too. Also, in Internet Explorer, under the tools tab you can clear all history as well.
Start/ Control Panel/Add or Remove Programs icon. In here you can compile a list of software that you use and don't use. If you don't know whether or not you use it, don't uninstall it, but if you do uninstall it.
This should clear enough space for ya.

I believe I erased my sound driver for emachine desktop. Erasing junk and may have erased the driver as well. We can hear computer sounds but no volume for youtube, etc.

you can't erase the driver when it's already installed, anyway try installing realtek driver:
http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsCheck.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=23&PFid=23&Level=4&Conn=3&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false#AC
or you can do System Restore in Control Panel, go to Performance and Maintenance(category view) on the left select System Restore, restore computer to earlier time before you erased files.

Hackers pc

Not intending to encourage this paranoia theme, but do you lock your doors when you leave or gave a key to a friend who may be doing a trick? Otherwise, I would have to agree with the above. Make sure you are not downloading anything with adware, spyware, etc. Get a security software as well.
One other thought, because this is an old, old pc, the hardware could be malfunctioning, with not enoough memory or storage. Consider getting a newer desktop if you need one.

Contact Dell technical support to get the CD read the partition on your hard drive to restore to factory settings. It won't be able to work without one since it has to boot from the CD in order to get it to work.
