Question about HP Pavilion dv6000z Notebook
Remove the battery and try again (could be a shorted battery), if not sucsessful you chould remove every thing you can (RAM, CD DRIVE, HARD DRIVE, NIC's, etc...) then try again if it starts re-install the devices/modules ONE AT A TIME to target the faulty device, check the voltage of the AC adaptor and compare with the rating written on the AC adaptor, if non of these worke your notebook needs a proffessional tech. (could be the system board)
