Question about Samsung Cell Phones
Ouch... definitely sounds like needed the insurance coverage on your mobile. If you've cracked the screen that's it. In some areas you may be able to find a technician with the skills to replace the screen, but you may want to check into replacement options...
Insurance, either on your mobile account or your home-owners.
Technician or manufacturer. They may offer a flat-rate for a refurbish exchange.
First off though, try powering it off for a few minutes.. then power it up and cross your fingers.. but it sounds like you've got a problem on your hands there that isn't easily remedied. If your contacts aren't on the SIM you may want to look at the menu in your manual and step (blindly) through opening contacts, then copying contacts to SIM so you can have those on your card. If you can attach it to your computer to back up information, definitely do that too.
Sorry to hear about your accident!
