This error was formed as a result of downloading the files repeatedly on a same computer. Some time the Microsoft Website won't allow users to download the same file repeatedly. In that case, the best option is to try again after 4-5 hours. Its also shown in the error message "setup cannot continue because there was an error downloading files,please try again later.
I try sending a fax then the paper goes through it makes a loud beep and the message says theres been an error try again this happens all the time no matter who I fax. then it prints out error confirmation stating Mode G3 send error
To reset the error you need to press the additional functions button (*) then 2 and 8 at the same time then the add. func. again. This should bring you into service mode. Select function from the top row and you should see a clear option there. Press the clear button, highlight the ERR option and press OK. This will clear any current error on your machine. When you reboot if the error occurs again it will error on you again. If the problem is intermittent (which is normally the case with this error as it pertains to a bad temp reading) then this will get you going again. Hope this helps more than the generic BS answers that seem to be floating around here. RJM
