There is a chance. Pull the battery pack immediately. Dry the phone thoroughly. You can bake it at a very low temp for a couple hours (100 - 120 degrees F). You can also use a blow dryer or the dash board of your car on a warm sunny day.

Reinstall battery pack and see if it will power up. If you pics were written to a microsd flash card, you could just remove the card and retrieve the photos using a flash card reader.

If the phone will power up, you may be able to connect with USB and recover your photos.

Good luck.

Kyocera presto phone was dropped fully charged but now wont turn on how can i retrieve photos and contacts

Without being able to power the phone on you still may be able to retrieve your pics and stuff if it has a removable micro SD card and a SIM card. The SIM card usually holds the contact info and the SD will hold most of your other stuff.

Xperia u, power button broken can i retrieve my photos n documents?

If the phone will power on or stay on at all now is the time to buy an SD card for it. You can save all the pictures to this and access them on it. If it has no SD card slot plug the phone into the computer and use the computer to save all files from the phone to the computer. Other than these two solutions there is nothing else to do.

I dropped my iPhone 3GS in a pool and now it will not power on. Is there a way to retrieve the over 300 photos on it?

DO NOT TRY TO SWITCH IT ON!!!!!!!! Just let it dry. If you switch it ON now it will short circuit and your phone will be "dead" (damaged beyond repair). To dry your phone, use a hairdryer from 1 foot away to dry out the water. Try to switch on your phone after 24hrs. It will switch on once it is dried. Then you can retrieve all your data.

Is there a way to retreive deleted photos

If you are using a memory card, take no more pics until you've recovered the photos, take the card out of the camera. This is to reduce the chance of you overwriting some of your "lost" photos. There are many good freeware photo recovery software options that are available to help you recover your photos. This blog article reviews and outlines several of the better ones.

The phone was dropped in water and has never worked since. Is it possiblle to retrieve the numbers at all?

If your numbers were saved on a SIM card and it wasn't ruined by the water, yes. However if it does not have a SIM card, and the telephone can not power on, my apologies, your numbers aren't retrievable.

Have a Happy New Year!

Feedback is appreciated!
