On the bottom of the mouse, where the area to put your USB is, there is a tiny little button that has an image of a battery (it's really little). Push that, and the covering that houses the batteries will pop up. You can then remove the covering easily.

How do you open the wireless mouse for the MK320 so I can change the battery??

To change the batteries in your Logitech MK320 desktop keyboard and wireless mouse, simply turn the mouse over. Move the on/off switch to the off position. Press the battery button and slide off the cover. Insert the batteries negative side first. Replace cover. Turn mouse on.

How do i replace a battery in a wireless mouse?

Hi,

I do have a Logitech wireless mouse and keyboard as well its model is EX100. If this is the first time you are replacing the batteries then here are the steps:
  1. Slide the top cover of the mouse downwards.
  2. You need to press it down slightly to unlock the cover.
  3. Replace the batteries
  4. Put the cover back in
  5. If the mouse does not respond after replacing the old batteries press the Connect button underneath it
Here is the link for the detailed manual for Logitech's EX100 mouse and keyboard.
http://www.logitech.com/assets/35687/quick-start-guide.pdf
However if you have a different model, click the link below and select the model you have and click on "Changing the battery on my (Logitech mouse model)"
http://www.logitech.com/en-roeu/support-downloads/downloads/mice
If this doesn't help you, I will continually check on this and if you can provide the model of your mouse, the better. Thank you for choosing FixYa! Enjoy!

After a Low Battery Message, but with battery still functioning, I replaced the battery, clicked reset and had a dead mouse on my hands. I replaced new battery with the old battery to test -- still dead....

Hi,

You need to re-connect the mouse to wireless network.
Follow the steps given below.

Step 1

Press and hold the Connect Button ( At the bottom of the mouse ) and the connect button on the receiver together and release both the buttons together.

This will help you connect the printer again to PC.

If this does not work, try this next step.

Step 2
You will have to uninstall and reinstall the drivers for your mouse

Click on Start
Click on Settings or Control Panel
Open Add or Remove Programs OR Programs and Features
Look for Logitech Wireless Mouse in the list
Use the arrow key on keyboard till you select the Logitech Wireless and choose Uninstall

Hope this should fix the issue.

After you uninstall - reinstall the program, and restart your computer. This should allow you to use your cordless mouse again.

Thank you for contacting FixYa

Check whether the battery in your mouse is still working. Also check whether the Logitech Unifying wireless receiver works.

How in the world do I get to the place where the battery goes on my wireless mouse? It cannot be as difficult as I am making it!

Generally with newer logitech wireless mouses, you simply have to slide the top off.

With earlier models, you need to open a lid on the bottom of the mouse.

In either case, it should open easily

My Logitech LX5 wireless optical mouse has never worked properly

hi im josh in cebu phils.may i help you? Friend try my gathered solutions. This problem has a simple solution—replace your batteries! Low batteries in a wireless device will cause all sorts of problems. In a mouse, this typically means that the cursor slows down, jerks around, or seems to hit an invisible wall. Fresh batteries should fix things right up.
If new batteries don't fix the problem, you have some sort of wireless interference. Try moving the wireless receiver to a new position—preferably away from other wireless devices (wireless network adapters/base stations, cordless phones, baby monitors, and the like). If interference continues, see if you can change transmitting/receiving channels on one of the devices, or consider turning off the interfering device while you're computing. Good luck friend hope i helped you.
