Question about GE Security Simon 3 Wireless Home Security System
Crystal based transmitters and some pll based transmitters can stop transmitting or change their frequency sufficiently during hot or cold temperature excursions causing them to go outside the monitored range fo the base receiver which looks like them going off line to the control panel. This is a sign that the particular sensor has a bad or out of spec component in the transmitter board of the sensor. You can resolve the issue by either replacing that unit or by reassigning it to an area that maintains a more moderate temperature profile. Replacing it is generally the best bet so that if it dwells on the cusp of being within the correct frequency range it could cause a false alarm under the right conditions.

Hello - Hot water is most often 10 degrees colder when it arrives at your machine from when it leaves your hot water heater. In general hot water is 130 degrees Fahrenheit (54.4 Celsius) or above. Warm water is between 110 and 90 degrees Fahrenheit ( 43.3-32.2 Celsius). Cold water is generally between 80 and 60 degrees Fahrenheit (26.7-15 Celsius). If cold water is below 60 degrees Fahrenheit (15 Celsius), clothes are unlikely to be cleaned very well. After confirming information and it proves to be ineffective contact a professional to move forward accurately. Unit could possibly be experiencing a defective timer, temperature sensor, or water valve.
