Recently purchased destop. Put in pastword, lost paperwork with pastword now cannot back out and change so I can use the destop. Keeps asking for pastword that i no longer have. Help i am contaqcting you on my husband's computer. I cannot use mine because of the problem. What can be done?

Format? Are you talking about doing a System Recovery where is sets your system back to the time you first purchased it? If so you'll lose all your data, documents, music, pictures, videos and any programs you've installed since the purchase.

Why do a System Recovery when maybe a System Restore will help you? System Restore keeps all your data, documents, music, pictures, videos and programs. Click Start/Program/Accessories/System Tools/System Restore. Select a restore point (date and time) that is before you started having problems.

- the YM icon on your desktop is just a shortcut for that program, if you lost it it;s OK..
- you can access it by clicking on START button, then go to ALL Programs, then Look for the Yahoo Messenger on the list

- you can put back the ICON on the desktop buy doing the steps above, and once you have located the YM program, instead of LEFT Click, DO a RIGHT CLICK, then Left click on Send TO, select Desktop on the drop down..

If it is a Linksys router:
Go to 192.168.1.1 in your browser address box.
you will be asked to type in a password in the login box that appears. The linksys router's default password is admin, leave the user name box blank
once the setup page appears, click on the wireless tab, then on the security tab. There you will see your encryption key.

sorry to hear about that. Have you still got the restore disks from when you purchased the computer? If not contact the supplier and ask them to send you some, it will put your computer back to its original state from when you purchased it.

Look over the paperwork that came with the fan -- there should be a customer service number somewhere (there is on the paperwork I got for a fan from the other big box store) -- it might be buried in the fine print somewhere...
best bet is to call them -- if you're really courteous and respectful, they might send you the parts at no cost... (of course, that may also depend upon which side of the bed the rep got up on)...
