Hi,

there are many reason for that,

1) loose sim card. try removing your sim card and place it again securely to the slot.
2) defective sim card. try replacing another sim and see if it works.
3) bad terminal contact. if you can manage to see your sim card terminal in the phone, try checking it if their is no abnormalities in it.
4) the worst is that it has a defective sim card IC. (rare case)

Hope i helped you.
Don't forget to rate me OK!

regards,

John

Hi first of all you can try to put the number which is written on the back of your Sim Card (only once).Because repeated enter of wrong number will leads to sim Rejected. So, my advise is to contact/call customer care of your particular sim card operator.Because, this unique key is maintain by the network operator.Good luck

Show sim card rejected while insert the sim.

If your SIM card is not the correct one for your service provider or it has been used in another phone, many phones will reject it.

To solve the problem, take your phone to one of your Cellular Service Provider's stores and have them replace the SIM card. (Note: The SIM card may not be defective - it may work in another phone - it's just that your phone may not be able to read it properly.) This is a common problem and easily fixed.

I blocked my sim card and in now showing me sim card rejected. plz tell me what to do to open it. i want my sim card back plz help me.

If you enter the PIN code three times incorrectly one message will be shown "ENTER PUK" Then if you again enter the puk 10 times incorrectly"SIM REJECTED"
After these your sim-card will be completely damage.
Therefore, just throw away the old Sim and get new one.
Thanks..

My phone model is Nokia 5130 xpressmusic. I tried to set the pin code in the phone and the sim card got rejected. How am i suppose to get my sim activated to the same number? plz suggest me a way.

The sim got rejected means you have to contact the mobile operator.
The mobile operator will provide you a new simcard with the old mobile number. The tariff and balance will be not get affected. You have to submit the proof if requested. They will charge around 50 Rs for duplicate sim.
