Wanting to change propane stove to natural gas, need parts to do that

Most ranges can be converted with the orfices being changed.Newer ranges have the orfices under the top.Older ranges can be convetrted by drilling the orfices larger.(propane orfices are smaller than natural gas.Sears can sell you a conversion kit if you know the model and serial #.Most Gas companies will convert it for a fee.

The wall behind my propane oven is black, why?

possibly the air shutters were not adjusted when new for propane use, most units come set-up to burl natural gas but need conversion to burn l.p. gas by changing the orfices on the top burners, then turning the orfice spuds down on the bake and broil orfices as to control the flow of a heavier gas and also opening the air shutters on these venturi gas feed tubes next to these orfices

Convert dfg200 from gas to lp

being this is a commercial oven you will nee3d to go to a commercial parts purveyor to get the conversion parts,on residential units the orfices are included with the range when new for conversion at any time, the gas orfices need to be changed on the top burners, then the orfice spuds in the oven bake and broil units need to be turned down onto the orfice for conversion, your commercial parts person will have the steps with the conversion kit to do the change-over

I need to change the stove to operate on propane instead of natural gas.

You will need to conact a gas safe engineer who will change your gas jets from natural gas to LPG, then carry out various test to makesure your flueless appliance burns the gas safely and efficiently

Prpane back to ng. Changed top burner apertures. Is there anything else I should do for the gas supply

The range burner orfices need to be changed to the natural gas ones. I am assuming when you say "apertures" you are talking about the burner orfices. If so then you have already changed the range burner orfices. There is also a orfice that usually needs to be replaced for the oven burner and top broiler burner (if you have a top broiler). And then there is usally a pressure adjustment required on the appliance gas regulator. This is usually adjusted by simply removing the regulator cap and turning over the spring tension plug inside and then re-installing the plug and cap.

How do i change from lp gas to natural gas on wall oven

First thing you will need to do is find out from the manufacturer of the oven if there is a conversion kit available and if the appliance is convertable. If there is then you can order the kit and follow the installation instructions. Also check the back of the oven for an envelope that may contain the gas orfice replacement heads to convert the appliance to natural gas. If you find the replacement orfice then you will need to remove the lp orfice from the burner and install the natural one. Then the appliance gas regulator will need to have the pressure adjusted lower for natural gas. There is usually a removable cap on top of the regulator on the oven. When you remove this cap there is usually a small metal ring that you can remove and flip over. It will say "nat" on one side and "lp" on the other. You will need to turn this ring over and re-insert so it displays "nat". This will change the gas pressure from 13 inches W.C. to 4 inches W.C. Some appliances only require the orfice change and no regulator adjustment but make sure that is the case with your oven because if you feed 13 inches W.C. pressure to a burner with a natural gas orfice...YOU WILL GET A HUGE BURNER FLAME AND MAY BURN/FLASH YOURSELF...So use extreme caution when converting a gas appliance. And if the oven has a pilot you will need to adjust the pilot pressure or change it's orfice if it has one. If it is electronic ignition no adjustment to that will be needed. Also unplug the electrical power the the unit while working on it.
