auger may be jamming or motor is starting to go unplug unit and open back and oil auger motor and check operation- auger may not be sitting right in feeder tube also try a different pellet some pellets are bigger(sizes vary from company to company) which sometimes jam at feeder in hopper

SOURCE: Hello: We own a Napolean Pellet
If this was mine... I would be using an electrical meter and then following the wireing backwards from the motor to see where the electric is stopping at...
It is unlikely that the thermostat has any kind of reset, but it is very likely that it is bad...
There also is a good possibility that the door feed switch is bad... if you have power to one side of it and not the other when it is in the closed position then it is bad...

SOURCE: My St. Croix Hastings pellet
Check for power to the auger motor... power but no run equals bad motor and/or jammed auger... no power means bad board or high limit cutout needs reset...
You will need to do some checking and try ti figure out what is going on....
From the mention of the squeaking I would say that maybe a bearing went out on the auger and siezed up which may have also burnt out the motor...

Sounds lie an Ignition Box problem. Quadra Fire recently redesigned their Ignition Boxes, so your may wan to replace yours. In addition, contact Quadra Fire Technical Service and speak to Steve Tate. He's a real guru when it comes to this problem. Don't settle for anyone else.
Hope this helps solve your problem.

Testimonial: "Thank you...don't know who Steve Tate is but will definitely look into Ignition Box replacement."
SOURCE: We have an Envirofire pellet
You didn't mention which model Envirofire Pellet Stove you have, but generally they all have a heat overload switch, which stops the auger from feeding pellets if the stove gets to hot. They may be faulty. Or The Auger Timing Control Module may have failed. Depending on the age of the stove the gasket material around the door may need replacing. If it's not a tight fit, it's sucking air into the stove and causing it to run more than it should. Normally, I would say, "If all else fails, contact their Technical Service Dept." But, apparently they don't want the consumer contacting them, as there is no contact info on their website. Nor, is there any contact info on the manufacturer's website, Sherwood Industries. "Any technical service questions should be directed to your local dealer."
Hope this helped to get you headed in the right direction in solving the problem.
