Question about NEC Dterm DTP 16D-1 Corded Phone

The only thing I can suggest is unplug the phone from the wall outlet, unplug the cord from the wall and leave it overnight, this will clear any static charge the processor has built up. If by morning there is no change I would replace the phone system because it is not cost effective for repair.
