when downloading programs on my puter , it will finish downloading but when i go to open it...the program disappears from mu puter...i run searchs for the program but can't be found...it doesn't go to the location i put it to go...i don't know where it goes...please help

I have the same problem.

pookie43us Does this happen to all your downloads? are you using windows internet explorer or mozilla? Have you set your browser to delete all downloads, cookies etc when you log off the web?

loveslave45 Normally all downloads will go to your "My Recieved Files" under "My documents" tab. Unless you change it of course, but the default way is the easiest.

do you have a deep freeze installed? because deep freeze removes any data that has been save after you restart your computer.or do you save your downloads or you just simply clicking the run button.
