Question about Toshiba Satellite M35X-S109 Notebook
Most likely an LCD backlight inverter chip has gone bad. They're about $15-50 depending on where you go to get one. Ebay is a good option here. There pretty simple to replace and it should be an easy fix for anyone handy with a screw driver. But be careful not to break the bezel of your monitor...
