How do I fix a squealing or squeaking fan in my portable AC

unplug unit and check play in motor shaft. if it moves perpendicular to the bearing the motor needs to be replaced. There may be something loose causing a squeeking sound. you could check all the screws for tightness.

Why does my cobra 148 GTL CB give out a squeeking noise when i trasmit as heard by others receiving me ??

is this a new radio? if so then the voltage change on the vco/pll will cause a squeak. kindda like a cobra 19dx does. also like the old golden eagle squeal .. all due to the voltage being unstable.. now is it that prob or do you have talkback and its loud/bad grounds causing a squeal. that could be the case too. if you have talk back let me know there's a cure for that. contact us..we can put the talkback just lil outtaphase to stop 99% of the squeals in cobra/uniden chassis radios.

Fax machine squeals when fax comes through

Usually the squeeking on most faxes/copiers that I come across is from a nylon roller on a steel shaft/bushing. You'll be able to tell by opening the back door and look at the little rollers. The plastic ones are usually the culprit and you'll need to carefully blow air through the holes in the center, or any mounting point/axel. VERY LIGHT oil can be placed on the shafts, but it will take a little while and a few copies/faxes to work its way in there.

Squeeking noise at slow speeds

If its squealing from the wheels at low speeds with your foot OFF the brake pedal, check the brake pads. There is an EARLY WARNING SENSOR that's squeals like chalk on the blackboard when the brakes get low. Could be totally off on this one , but hope it helps.
