Make sure the battery is good and if the keypad still works you do it like this.

Locate the smart/learn button on the rear of the motor unit near where all those white wires go. Press and immediately release this and then walk over to the keypad and key in any 4 digit code you like and press enter.

That did not work, I know I did it correctly because I was able to to connect to the clicker.
The way I see it the keypad will not transmit anything without the correct code? is there a way to reset the code

Post the model number of the opener and the model numbers of the remotes. The opener model number is found on the end closest to the door and starts with 139.

Try programming the keypad like this:

Locate the smart/learn button on the rear of the motor unit near where all those white wires go. Press and immediately release this and then walk over to the keypad and key in any 4 digit code you like and press enter.

After programming the keypad see if either remote will work with it. Post this information also.

Dear Sirs, I just moved into my new apartment

You need to get the correct model number. What you give is a part number. The model number you want is on the end of the motor unit nearest the door. It starts with 139. Get this and either call Sears or visit their store.

Craftsman 1245LM reprogram

The keypad outside has manuals online that you could use, but for simplicity, Have someone go to that back of the machine and press the "Learn" button, once its is pressed, the yellow light should blink. Enter a new code (4digit) into the keypad and press the enter button. You should then hear a click and the lights on the machine should flash. That will program your keypad.
