Question about Frigidaire GLMV168K Microwave Oven
Posted by Anonymous on
Sounds like the magnetron has went out...this is the device that actualy converts the electricity into a heating source ... it is a common problem and can be costly,,it is not very hard to change just requires pulling the microwave if it is a cabinet mount and taking the exterior cover off and getting to the magnetron...the problem is the cost of the magnetron is normally somewhere in the range of a $100.00 and your time alot of people choose to get another one due to not being that much more expense and the work involved to repair yours.... good luck hope this helps...
