Now I think I have other things wrong with mine, after leakage problem the refrigeration compartment wont cool anymore but the freezer part remains working as usual.Ive nailed this down to one of the following not working... Thermostat / timer / defrost heater. So one or more of these needs replacing.Im just trying to look for a manual which shows the nuts and bolts or the refrigerator (not the "How to use" type manual which I have).

SOURCE: Fridge ice accumulation inside and water dripping outside

Hi, Are you getting ice build up in the freezer side as well? There is a air shuttle between the fresh food side and the freezer side. thwater might be getting in the freshfood side from there. Look at the bottom rear panel in the freezer for ice build up. Ig=f there is ice, you will need to get to the drain from inside the freezer and check for blockage.
Please let me know if I can help you further.

SOURCE: Black tray above compressor is filling up with water on a RLA50

hi there.the tube your speaking about comes from the rear of the fridge down to the plactic tray on top of the compressor...and is used for conveying condensed water from the fridge to the dri tray where it is evaporated by the running heat of the comressor....excessive water can be caused by a faulty fridge door seal....door not closing correctly...and the possibility that your fridge setting is to low....or sited close to a working radiator

You have a leaking water tank behind the crisper drawer. You will need to get back there to determine if the tank is leaking or the water connection is leaking. This will only leak if you close the door and dispense water from the dispenser.

Water leak fridge

The condensation in a fridge is generally routed to a small drain hole at the bottom at the back. The water drained off here normally drips onto the compressor unit (the big black ball thing at the back) where it gets evaporated off, due to the heat the compressor generates. Before taking steps to unblock the drain, you might consider defrosting the fridge first. When unblocking the drain, do not use wire, unless the fridge is switched off and unplugged, you never know where that wire will end up (electrocution risk!). There are two good ideas for clearing the blockage. The best way off clearing the tube is with compressed air, often difficult to get in your kitchen, but don't despair, there could be two solutions in your garden shed. If you have a Weed-killer Spray that uses a pump to pressurise the spray pot, you could use that to clear the blockage (with a bit of ingenuity). Clean the spray thoroughly first, you don't want to poison anything in the fridge, and use the spray with no liquid in it. You can take off the spray nozzle and use the pipe in the hole. If you need to manually unblock the tube, you could use a hard nylon "cord" that is used in a garden strimmer. Pocking that down the hole and into the pipe should do the trick. It's flexible enough to get around the corners in the pipe and when it emerges at the other end it won't electrocute you if it touches a live connection. Lastly, having removed the blockage, put a very tiny bit of "plughole unblocker" fluid in the pipe, that will clean out all the other residue not pushed out with the cord. Good Luck!

Drain tube blocked in freezer GE profile PDS22MCRBWW

This is a result of the drain being clogged. you'll have to locate the drain hole in the bottom of the freezer. Remove the wire bins and gently poke around the back of the floor of the refer with your finger. You should be able to feel a soft spot and clear the drain with a Q-tip or something else soft and flexable.

I had this problem & found it to be a blocked outlet pipe ( the flexable pipe where the water emptys into the drain) .Unscrew the clip that attaches it to the pump & clear it out.

Freezer leaking on Kitchen Floor

the pipe which is located at the back of the fridge/ freezer may be blocked or hanging outside of the designated collection chamber designed for this purpose. Unplug from the mains and pull the appliance away from the wall so you can see and get to the back of it. At the back of it you will see a pipe coming out from the bottom of the cooling fins and will go down and the end of it will be sitting inside a shallow plastic collection unit - not covered but open. Itusually is sitting on top of the condenser unit. (this is a large sealed metal structure whic has pipes coming out of it and is the largest item in that area at the back bottom end of appliance). If there is some liquid in it then either move the pipe end into the dry area or emty it out. Sometimes there isnt a collection chamber but the pipe just drips onto the condenser and evaporates - usually on self defrosting certain brand named products but dont know much about that. Use a pipe cleaner to clear out the pipes from inside the fridge out toward the back using that pipe. the drainage hole is inside the fridge at the back and may have some sort of cover or plug in it. remove that and clean it and use the wire or pipe cleaner to shove doen the hold and clear the entrance and exit. Test pipe functionability by pouring a small ammount of water down the drain hole and see it coming out of the back via pipe. If still leaking make sure the vent areas in the back of fridge and freezr are not covered expecially in the self defrosting models. basically dont overload the fridge or freezer coz this causes blocked vents, difficulty derfosting on self defrosters, water builds up and gets out via the tube as it should, but more water than can be evaporated will cause puddles on the floor

Clogged Freezer Drain it is. To clarify, pull out the fridge, remove the smaller square metal panel (about a third of the way up the fridge in the middle) with 4 screws. Behind it is a black drain pipe system. Remove two screws and remove drain pipe (takes some pulling to detach the seal). There is a silver 3" long pipe that goes into the freezer itself. Remove this, clear it and replace. Take the black pipe and pluming, remove pluming block from the black pipe and blow through it. Run warm water through it (most likely where the clog is) then before reconnecting it to the black pipe, blow through the black pipe to make sure there is no clog there. Reattach pluming, screw it back in, replace the panel and there you have it!
