I tried printing something else. The two-sided button was there. For some reason, (I tried to do it again), the article my friend sent to me would not let me use two-sided printing. It was an article from the Net about Photo Shop Elements Layers.
Thank you for your quick response. If I have anything really serious I shall turn to you. By the way, I am using a Mac, but do not think that has anything to do with it. (o:

Can I print on both sides of the page

Here are the instructions for duplex printing.

The duplex printing function allows you to print data on both sides of a sheet of paper.

The procedure for performing duplex printing is as follows:

1. Open the printer driver setup window, and check the Duplex Printing check box on the Page Setup tab.

2. Select Normal-size Printing (or Fit-to-Page Printing, Scaled Printing or Page Layout Printing) from the Page Layout list.

3. Specify Staple Side.

The printer analyzes the Orientation and Page Layout settings, and automatically selects the best staple position. Check the Staple Side setting. If you want to change the setting, select another value from the list.

4. If necessary, click Specify Margin... and set the Margin width.

5. Click OK.

Two-sided printing

On a PC...
- Ctrl + p to print
- Choose the Canon MP530 if it's not already selected
- Click Properties button
- Page Setup tab
- Select Duplex Printing

My paper always gets jammed, so I always uncheck the Automatic checkbox. Hopefully you won't have to do that.

Good luck.
