Question about Cobra 19 DX II 40-Channels Base CB Radio

My cobra is getting power but nothing else. what can i do to fix it? or what might be the problem?

It mite be the mic or coxail to antina if you are getting a bad connection it will not do anything but lite up bad coxail. if you hold down on mic lever and look on front panel thay should be lites to tell you how much power you are putting out with mic if not replace mic hope that that will help you !!

Cobra 19 ultra powers up but no audio or display on led


sounds to me you have to low voltage/ amps...try testing your power source with a meter the ultra is ideal @ 13.8 VOLTS

Cobra 29 ltd (1993)


Looking at the schematic TR23 colector ties in with
the power switch ,check D22 it's a 9.1 to 10 volt
zener diode also check C11 an D21.
TR23 shows to be a 2SC1096 I would go ahead and
replace it.Be sure that the CB-PA switch is in good
working order;

Cobra XRS 9950 Radar Detector not powering up


At the end of the power cord for the radar detector the end screws off and there is a fuse for the radar detector itself. Check it....

If that isn't the problem post back for further help.

Cobra 29 issues


Check D23 and D28. They are polarity protection diodes. It could also be the power knob.

Dear sir, It seems ur radio's LCD screen has some loose connection open it carefully by unscrewing & then switch it on ( remeber do not switch on radios without antennae , it may burn transmission circuit ,) u cad locate the fault & fix it

Night watch lights are dimmer than when new


The dimmer pcb driver has a tendency to go bad in these radios contact cobra and ask them they migth be able to send you one if not write back to ma and Il see if I can get you one...Chia
