Pretty bullet proof car. make sure its automatic. nissan had some issues with differencial bearings failing in their 5 speed manuals. any maybe the intake gasket may have an issue unless it has been replaced already. other then that bullet proof. i would buy it if its clean. great gas milage car too.

2006 nissan sentra timing chain does it need changing at a certain time or mileage. thanks

Thanks for choosing FixYa and welcome to the sight.A timing chain can last 100,000 miles or more. Some can last the life of the vehicle. Here is the thing though. If it breaks, you are not going nowhere and it can cause engine damage. If you have the money and time, plus it is over 100,000, go ahead and have it done. If not, it should be fine through 125,000 miles. Some last forever and some can break before 100,000. You really just never know. The call is yours. Thanks for choosing FixYa. If you need anything else, just let me know.

1999 Nissan Altima service engine light. What is

Any thing could be wrong. The best thing to do is to take it to Autozone or to a shop and have diagnostic test done on the car. Autozone does not charge to have it done and most shops will not charge you if they do the work.

Tune-up

That all depends on the mileage, first tune is 100,000 miles, the very least you will need is spark plugs, fuel filter and air filter, use factory spark plugs, many brands available but the factory plugs work best.

Does it have leather seats?? if so, you most likely need one of the side air bags. Most likely drivers side.
