My Philips Envisor cHD ultrasound system is giving me an "internal error" message and won't allow me to scan images. How do I resolve this?

on the admin utility go to the errors tab and remove the out of paper action, return error


the disadvantage of that is you have to click on the scan icon to start scanning.

I'd love to tell ya that there is an easy solution, but there is not. The error code simply states that the WiFi card is not working; you probably already figured that out! There are three possibilities: The WiFi card itself (most common), a resistor on the main motherboard (manufacturing issue, warranty), or the switch has gone bad (in which case you might be able to "short it out", but search on opening the PSP and you will see that this is straightforward for the very patient). The most expedient route is to (a) send to service or (b) get another PSP and test the WiFi before you leave the store. (And sell the faulty unit on eBay ??)

You need to change the resolution on the scan to 200 dpi. I submitted this to HP and that is what they told me to do. It works. The steps to do it vary according to your HP Solution Center software version. Just find the "Scan to PDF" settings. In my case, I had to create a new "default" profile because it wouldn't let me modify the installed setup without saving it under a new name.

If you wish to print using a paper size which is different from the normal one A4, you need to specify the same to the printer else it will not recognize or will not accept the paper ...

Below are the steps that you can follow to:
1) Specify paper size
2) Specify paper type ..

Specifying the Paper Size At the factory, the paper size has already been set to [LTR]. Normally, you can make copies in this setting. When making copies on other sizes of paper, you need to specify the paper size according to the following.

  1. Press <Menu>.


  2. Press <la.gif> or <ra.gif> to select [COMMON SETTINGS], then press <Set>.
  3. Press <la.gif> or <ra.gif> to select [PAPER SETTINGS], then press <Set>.


  4. Press <la.gif> or <ra.gif> to select [PAPER SIZE], then press <Set>.


  5. Press <la.gif> or <ra.gif> to select the appropriate paper size (LTR, LGL, EXECUTIV, A4, B5, ENVELOPE, or FREE SIZE), then press <Set>.

  6. Press <Stop/Reset> to return to the standby display.


Specifying the Paper Type [PLAIN PAPER] is selected as the default paper type. When making copies on paper other than plain paper, you can specify the paper type according to the following. Specifying the paper type can prevent poor copy quality, or the printout not being printed correctly.

  1. Press <Menu>.


  2. Press <la.gif> or <ra.gif> to select [COMMON SETTINGS], then press <Set>.


  3. Press <la.gif> or <ra.gif> to select [PAPER SETTINGS], then press <Set>.


  4. Press <la.gif> or <ra.gif> to select [PAPER TYPE], then press <Set>.


  5. Press <la.gif> or <ra.gif> to select the appropriate paper type, then press <Set>.

    You can select from the following paper types: - Plain paper (17 lb to 24 lb (64 g/m2 to 90 g/m2 )): [PLAIN PAPER] - Heavy paper (25 lb to 34 lb (91 g/m2 to 128 g/m2 )): [HEAVY PAPER], [HEAVY PAPER H]*1 - Transparency: [TRANSPARENCY] - Label*2 : [HEAVY PAPER], [HEAVY PAPER H]*1 - Envelope: [HEAVY PAPER], [HEAVY PAPER H]*1*1 If print fixing is not sufficient when printed with [HEAVY PAPER] selected, select [HEAVY PAPER H].
    *2 A label that can be loaded in the cassette is a standard type (label standard card) only.


  6. Press <Stop/Reset> to return to the standby display.

I have philips envisor ultrasound.Is it possible to do echocardiographic calculation and measurment on an acquire image.


This is not done to often, it is called planimetry and is dependant on the skill of the cardiologist because most measurements are done during ultrasound. IT is also mostly used for Aortic Stenosis.

Issue When attempting to scan, or, during the scanning process, the error message An unexpected internal error has occurred may display on the computer screen. There are three scenarios where this issue occurs. This document covers each scenario where this error may occur and provides links to the appropriate documentation for resolving each scenario. Solution one If you have multiple versions of HP Image Zone software installed on your computer, click here to download a patch that might resolve this issue . If you do not know if you have multiple versions of HP Image Zone installed, follow the instructions below.
  1. Click Start , point to Settings , and then click Control Panel .
  2. Click Add/Remove Programs .
  3. In the list of programs that displays, look for the following entries:
    • HP Image Zone

check in your scanner panel if there is any error showing like U 1 or any other message.if not then your scanner is perfect and check your system

Scansnap Scanner stops suddenly when scanning multiple pages and "hangs" for a little while, stating that it's scanning the same page, before giving an error message saying that it is offline. ...


I had this problem happen also and found that it was related to Acronis True Image Home 2011. When this program was uninstalled, the problem went away. I had even rebuilt the Windows 7-64 bit OS and the problem existed until Acronis was again removed.

I am sorry to ask you another question, but in order to give you the appropriate answer, I have to know your exact needs.

You want to record the images and cine loops and currently use a video/frame grabber to capture these signals into a computer.
If you are a specialized Ultrasound doctor, why don't you use the DICOM standard for storage and archiving? There are great free software packages out there you can use for this! It will give you the best medical solution for this purpose and if you need after exam measurements etc, all the image display information (pixel info etc.) is already available in the DICOM information. Any DVD recording will give you a limitation in these functionalities.

If you want to proceed with DVD recordings, please be aware that the average Ultrasound pixel resolution is 512 x 512. Besides this, Ultrasound is always noisy and kind of "blocky"..The DVD will never increase this quality and can only downgrade it if incorrectly setup.

Image not saving after scan


HP has an excellent online support site with access to troubleshooting solutions for your printer. I recommend you go there by clicking here and type the exact error message you are receiving into the question/keyword pane to get specific instructions for correcting this error.

My computer gives me an error message when i attach my MP3.


Go to Philips website
Get the updated Philips Device Manager for your model (rather than the one that came with the CD)
Once you have installed the updated Philips Device Manager, open it, and click on the Update button - it will update your player's firmware, which should resolve your issue.

If you are, instead, getting a message that says "File System Error" - return your mp3 player to the store or call Philips and see if you can get an in-warranty replacement.
