My Panasonic microwave Genius 1250 Watts displays H97 and does not do anything . What does that mean?

Hi,

The display indicates a problem with the microwave generation system.You will have to get this serviced that's the only solution to fix this.

    plug off your unit from power for few hours and leave it idle.

    after tat power it ON

H95, H97, H98 or H99 mean that there's a problem with your inverter, magnetron, or digital programming circuit.

Due to the lethal voltages used and produced in inverters, I do not recommend that an inexperienced person work on these.

H95, H97, H98 or H99 mean that there's a problem with your inverter, magnetron, or digital programming circuit.


It may be a loose connection in the wiring between the inverter, magnetron, and/or control board, or maybe one of those components has failed.

Due to the lethal voltages used and produced in inverters, I do not recommend that an inexperienced person work on these.

Troubleshooting of Inverter Circuit (U) and Magnetron .

This oven is programmed with a self diagnostics failure code system which will help for troubleshooting, H97, H98 and H99 are the provided failure magnetron and inverter circuit problem areas. This section explains failure codes of H97, H98 and H99. H97, H98 and H99 appears in display window a short time after start key is pressed and there is no microwave oscillation.
