Unit will blow & heat until the control is released, Fire will not stay on after release. Blower will stay on & remains on after plugged into current. Heater ignites in correct low position on valve, but cuts off when valve is released..

This tends to be a problem with the thermocouple in these type of heaters. So you can try cleaning it with steel wool and positioning it over the top center of the flame. This is the hottest part of the flame, you can also check to see that the thermocouple is good and snug at the gas valve. After repeated heat cycles the thermocouple tends to loosen up just from expansion and contraction. Try my hints first and if they do not work then order you a new thermocouple. Good Luck

I need code(s) for my DVD Video, Model #: NB093 remote control to program my Philips DVD Player/VCR, Model #: DVP3345V/17. Can you please help me? I would greatly appreciate it. Here is a picture of it.

http://remotecodelist.com/remotes/magnavox/magnavox.htm lists the code for your device as possibly being 1000, 1001, 1002, 1003, 1004, or 1005. Of course, you also have the option of using the remote controller's "Code Search" button. 25300580-iv4burzhkawezvl2jbah1xae-2-0.jpg With Codes:
Turn on the DVD/VCR unit directly. Continue to depress the remote controller's "Code Search" button for about ten seconds, release, & the light on the remote controller should stay on. Enter the four-digit code (1000, 1001, 1002, 1003, 1004, or 1005) for the DVD/VCR unit. The remote controller's light should go off. Press the remote controller's power button, & when the DVD/VCR unit turns off, then you will know that the remote controller has been correctly programmed.

Without Codes:

With the DVD/VCR unit on, continue to depress the remote controller's "Code Search" button for about ten seconds, release, & the light on the remote controller should stay on. Continue to tap the remote controller's UP or DOWN channel button ONLY UNTIL the DVD/VCR unit responds. Then, press the power button on the remote controller once the channel has changed. If the DVD/VCR unit shuts off, then press the power button again to turn it back on. If the DVD/VCR unit turns on, then the remote controller has been correctly programmed. Otherwise, repeat this whole process until the remote controller is correctly programmed.

Unit cools properly but after 5 minutes of operation unit trips breaker

First and easiest thing to check is the rear coil. It is commonly called the condenser coil, it is located under the cover, and the rear fan blows through it to the outdoors. It kind of looks like a small radiator, and it releases the heat. IF the coil is stopped up, the fan cannot blow through it to release the heat. It is usually stopped up with dirt, cotton wood , etc. To inspect the condenser coil, yo will have to pull the cover off the unit and look through the rear fan blade. You can wash this coil out with a hose and sprayer, just be sure not to get the motor wet.

Second, if you have an amp meter, check the amp draw of the air conditioner. There is a tag on the unit that will tell you the RLA or running load amps. The total amp draw of the unit should be 10 % or so less than the RLA. You could possibly have a bad circuit breaker.

The pole buiding 24 in hanging Dayton sometimes the blower comes on like after 5 minutes after everything else kicks in and sometimes like when its supposed to and sometimes not at all?? All the electric...

I'm not sure whether this is a gas unit or not. With many gas heaters, the blower comes on when the heat exchanger gets hot enough and goes off once the heat exchanger cools. Other things are happening before the blower goes on. The blower is normally controlled by a "fan control thermostat". This stat actuates the blower when the furnace is hot enough so that cold air is not being blown around and allows the blower to run until the furnace cools enough to get out the remaining heat after the flame shuts off but not so long to again allow cool air to blow around. If this fan control is malfunctioning, you will get erratic runs from the blower or the blower may not run at all or run long or continuously. The fan control is the first thing to check.

While setting up the Crest Universal remote control RCP1F for my sharp TV, I've managed to turn the TV off, but now I can't turn it back on. The TV remains on Standby and turning off the power doesn't do...

OKAY TRY THIS..
DO STEPS 1-3 AGAIN AND ONCE IT TURNS OFF KEEP CLICKING THE CURSOR UP A COUPLE TIMES.
THEN START CLICKING THE CURSOR DOWN SLOWLY TELL THE TV TURNS BACK ON AND ONCE IT CLICKS BACK ON HIT THE TV BUTTON ON THE TOP OF THE REMOTE ..
IF THE LIGHT BLINKS TWO OR THREE TIMES MORE THEN LIKELY YOU'VE PROGRAMED IT =)
AND NOW KICK BACK RELAX AND ENJOY A COLD BEER FOR THE BOTH OF US =)

The fan limiting switch is acting up. It should stay running until lower temp is reached. It will cycle until the temp stays below or at the low setting. Limit switches are adjustable.

Sometimes the heat blows hot than blows cold

Try pulling trouble codes first. Run your car at idle with the blower control set at anything but off, the temperature in full cool and the right knob in defrost mode. Push the rear window defogger button until the instrument panel reads AC00. The BCM will chime and the A/C button will blink. Release the defogger button and wait until the A/C button stops blinking. The trouble codes will show up on the odometer. There isn't a vacuum hookup that I know about as these are electrical. Anyway, write down the codes and call a dealer or buy a service manual to interpret them.
