Question about Samsung SyncMaster 2220WM 22" LCD Monitor
That can happen if the monitor is not getting a signal from the computer.
Try to unplug and replug both ends of the cable that's connecting the monitor and the tower.
If that doesn't fix it, check if the computer has a graphics card installed and you may have to re-seat it inside the computer.
