Hello & Welcome to FixYa

This indicates oven temp failure and to check if that is bad then check the sensor for around 1100ohms, if it is more then that then it is the temperature sensor, if it tests fine then it is the electronic control board that is bad and needs replacement. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.

Whirlpool range problem - lights etc on, but no heat from stove/range.

check the circuit breaker or fuses connected to the range
thelights will operate at only 120 volts but its takes 240 volts to heat
since no burners or oven elements heat that seems the breaker is the problem
anothe very probable cause is where the cord connects to the range their is a burnt connecting which would require repalcing the pigtail(range cord) and terminal block

Whirlpool sotve

Hi marywell,
Alot of times this is a sign that the voltage to the range is only half of what it should be. You may have a breaker kicked, or a bad fuse in your fuse box. When the range is only getting 110 volts instead of 220 volts, the oven will slowly heat but nothing else will work. check your breakers and I bet you will have the problem solved. Have a nice night and I hope this will FixYa. Please don't forget to rate me.
