The mechanical part of the vcr has malfunctioned, or the vcr tape has wrapped itself around the video head and pinch roller. dis-assembly will be required to try and remedy the situation. may not be cost effective for repair.

Get a flat plastic tool, work it in the creverse on top tray door pull down carefully, press the eject button at the same time, that might open the dvd door.

How to remove stuck dvd from lg blu ray

sounds like the disk may be sticky on top and is now stuck to the chucking clamp. Try to cut power as the door tries to open, then open the door as much as it will aloow and you should be able to fish the disk out. If it is stuck, you may have to push down the disk with a screwdriver to release it.

Most DVD players have a tiny hole on the front to mechanically push the internals to eject stuck DVDs. If the player does light up, sometime a thump with your fist is enough to jolt the mechanism. Failing that, you have to remove the player to get the DVD out.

It is stuck. I have tried putting a straightened paper clip. does not work. no light, no response. stuck, stuck, stuck

Shutdown the PC and try to insert straithtened paper clip in the small hole provided in front of the CD/DVD ROM drive.

My DVD Player does not reject a DVD. It gets stuck.

I had been closing the door at the DVD slot manually. I found that if I closed the DVD door with the close button, and then opened it with the open button, it no longer got stuck.
