SOURCE: the wheels lock up when i pull my lawnmower backwards

if you hold the clutch down to shift the gears after you release it if it doesn't move in reverse you have a gearbox problem and the easiest way would be to take it to a shop to have them fix it, it may not be too cheap but it is cheaper than getting the parts taking it apart and not being able to put it back together right. if you try to fix it yourself you could really mess it up and then it would end up costing you more than it would have to have just taken to the shop to start with.

SOURCE: My mower (HRR) was hard to start and then would

It sounds like you are in need of a valve job on it. You can check this by removing the spark plug and holding a finger or thumb tightly over the hole while someone pulls the starter cord. If it doesn't literally "pop" your finger off the hole, you have a leaking valve and need to do a valve job or at the very least a valve adjustment

Cub cadet xt2 reverse just got slow, why

Sounds like it may be a transmission issue. I would think warranty may cover it.

I have a Honda lawn mower mod.hrr it will not

It sounds like the carb choke is not working. If your model has a primer bulb, check it for cracks or holes, as this will let your engine draw air instead of fuel into the carb fuel section and keep it from running. Good Luck

Automatic transmission reverse not working

Try flushing the fluid. 2 1/2 quarts come out easily with the drain plug at the driver side. Add only Honda approved fluid. It is OLD dextron and $8 a quart. There is no filter on a Honda but you could add one on the return line from the radiator /cooler. Use Lucas conditioner as a last resort before replacing the solenoids/transmission. My CL had blocked filter mesh screens at the Torque Converter lock-up solenoids.

New honda hrr auto choke hard to start

sounds like it may need the carb clening out, but it could be the auto choke not closing when cold. there was an issue with some of the early auto chokes on the gcv135/160 engines so check to see if the choke flap is in the closed position when starting from cold, run the engine for approx 10-15 minutes and see if the choke flap has opened fully.leave it to go cold and see if the choke flap has returned to the closed position
