2000 stype jaguar runs rough while idiling at stop light. Car sometimes just cut off. Have changed plugs and filter and car is still running rough. It appears that sometimes the gas is not flowing properly...

This fault could be anything from a split or perished vacumn pipe somewhere on the inlet manifold to a mass air flow sensor and i would advise that you ask a local mechanic to have a look for you to see if anything is visable from a quick look at the engine .

I want to change the location of my split ac from one room to another kindly give me easy instruction

Power on. Let compressor starts in cool mode. After 5 minutes, close liquid line with proper Allen key and check your gauge becomes" 0" in suction line. Power off immediately. And start closing suction line with proper Allen key. Now, all gas has been pump down in condenser unit. Separate the pipe lines by removing flare-nuts . And also remove flare-nuts connected with indoor. Disconnect drain line and thermostat wire which comes from indoor to out door. Remove Indoor by hooking up and remove gently towards your chest. Nowyo can re instal your unit wherever you want.

Sounds as though the fuel filter may be plugged. The filter is in the tank. Take a look, see if it is visible. Remove and replace. Good luck...Lee

I lose horse power when in drive

Check around the fuel rail and injectors for leakage--this is not a problem to ignore due to the fire hazard that exists. Watch for any sudden wetness appearing when the key is turned on--no need to start the engine. When you find and repair the leak, then take the car to Autozone or similar business to have a free scan run on the computer looking for the horsepower problem. Hope this helps!

142 chain saw. Starts but will not pick up when

Check the fuel lines for hardness, cracking, splitting, or end rot. Check the muffler for plugging. Check the carburetor fasteners for tightness. Are you using fresh fuel mix? If the carburetor jets have been adjusted, try turning both CW to stops (lightly) then back out each CCW 1-1/2 turns. Engine should start and run--allow to warm up. Pull the throttle full on, and adjust H needle CW until the engine starts to speed up, but still 4-strokes. Proper adjustment is when the engine 4-strokes, but immediately 2-strokes when cutting. Let idle and adjust L CW for fairly smooth running, but still allows the engine to 'follow the throttle'. Hope this helps!

Will not run under load, seems to be starving for fuel. When I leave it for a minute or two, I can start it and work with it for a minute or so then it sees to over rev before cutting out. If I start it...

Check the fuel filter in the tank for plugging. Check the fuel lines for kinks, rotting, or splits. Check the muffler and air cleaner for plugging. Make sure all the screws and mounting nuts are tight on the carburetor. When these things look ok, then turn the H needle jet CCW about 1/2 turn, start the engine and let it warm up. Open the throttle fully--the engine should be 4-stroking now. Proper adjustment is when the engine will 4-stroke, but immediately 2-stroke when cutting. You may need to turn the H needle somewhat CW to achieve that condition. Hope this helps!

Saw starts then dies. Changed fuel ine soaked carb

Check the fuel filter, air cleaner and muffler for plugging. Was the carburetor disassembled when soaked and did you use compressed air to blow out all passages? If the carburetor jet screws have been moved, preset them as follows: Turn both H and L screws CW to stops (lightly), then back out CCW each screw 1-1/2 turns. Start the engine and allow to warm up. Pull the throttle full on and adjust H CW until the engine speeds up somewhat but 4-stroking. Proper adjustment is when the engine 4-strokes, but immediately 2-strokes when cutting. Allow to idle and adjust L CW until the engine runs fairly well, but still allows the engine to 'follow the throttle'. Adjust idle speed screw so that chain stops turning, but the engine continues to run. Hope this helps!

Engine wont re start when hot

I've had the same problem since last tune up. 'H' at Exactrep sorted it. It is almost certainly plug caps. I changed tmine for NGK's and the fault stopped IMMEDIATELY. Apparently a well know solution for those in the know. My bike was also running rough at low revs. This appears to have been due to the previous service where they overtightened the clips that seal the hoses that connect to the carbs. Each of them had a split causing air to be pulled in. Change the caps first, see what happens. Pete...
