The E003 error code is a heater temperature problem (abnormal drop; low-temperature detection)
The fixing film unit is faulty (i.e., the main thermistor (TH1) has poor contact or has an open circuit; or, the fixing heater is faulty). The main power supply PCB is faulty. The DC controller PCB is faulty. To clear the error, execute the following in service mode:COPIER>FUNCTION>CLEAR>ERR

This would be a fuser error code; low temperature error in fixing temperature control. I suggest check and clean the thermistors, thermo-fuses and the heater lamp.

If this dont work, change the fuser unit if its due or close to its life expectancy. Power supply for power related issue. Most likey its going to be a the heater on the fixing flim assembly.

Keep us update.

The error code E00 is a memory threshold error what it means is your
machine has logged 4 of the following errors, E001,E002, or E003. It is a
lockout error and the machine cannot be used untill the problem has
been repaired or the errors cleared.

    E000, E001, E002, E003 CODES

To reset these codes perform the following:
    - Remove the front panel and be careful not to bend or break the flexible cable connected to the panel and the DC Controller.
    - Turn on the copier and short the jumper wires JP3 and JP4 on the dc controller pcb with a screwdriver.
    - The count ratio indicator on the control panel turns on 'F'. When 'F' is turned on stop shorting the jumper wires
    - Turn off copier and turn it back on and its then reset.

E003 usually main thermistor on fuser roller. Try gently cleaning face
of thermistor; don,t reset more than once in 15 min. or you may cause
overheating and melt parts you don't want to.

E003 with a sub code of 0002, which indicates that the machine detected an abnormally low temperature when the fixing heater is turned on.

Check the temperature in service mode and see if the readings for the sub thermistors under Display for FIX-E and FIX-E2 would bounce back an forth between 0 and 36 degrees repeatedly.

1-Faulty Fixing Film Unit
2-DC Controller and DC Driver
NOTE:
Before replacing such things as, the entire Fixing unit, the DC Driver PCB, AC Driver PCB, and DCON; check SW3 and it's right door actuator.
In some cases SW3 has been found to also cause E003-0002 codes (also sub code 0000).
SW3 is the Fixing unit's AC interlock switch. Sometimes the right door actuator will be bent and not fully press SW3 when the right door is closed. SW3 is a button switch located right above some of the Fixing unit's rear frame connections.
SW3 has been found to show signs of wear and have carbon build up inside it. If the right door actuator is straight and making good contact , inspect SW3 and it's AC connections. If any flaws are found after inspecting SW3, replace it. SW3's part number is, FM2-9427-000.

The image below is for reference purposes only, it points out SW3 and it's right door actuator.

Title : E003-0000 is displayed upon recovery from sleep mode
Error :
E003-0000 is displayed upon recovery from sleep mode

Workaround :
When a machine is in sleep mode and is recovered an error code "E003-0000" was displayed.
It is caused during the fixing temperature control at recovery from sleep mode, electrical noise affected the thermistor.

In order to increase the length of time for idle rotation of the drum (by 30 sec) at start-up and prevent electrical noise from affecting the thermistor, make the following selection:
Service mode (Level 2)> COPIER> OPTION> BODY> DRM-IDL = change the setting to '3'

Note: The length of time for idle rotation is being increased by 30 sec.
This mode will delay start of the machine by 30 sec.
