Yahoo mail was offering a free email account but with a limited features. You cannot use it to other email client unless you have to do an upgrade and pay for a period of time to their company. If you like to use an email client such as Outlook Express then it is better to use Gmail because they offer a free account and at the same time you could use an email client along with it. First you must create your very own Gmail account. When you have successfully create your Gmail account you have to do some Outlook Express configuration. You also have to do some Gmail configuration. Enjoy browsing!

You will need to configure an email client (an application you install on your computer) to retrieve emails from your email provider.

Windows operating systems come with email clients pre-installed.
For newer versions such as Windows 7 and 8 you can use windows live mail (You may need to download it
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-live/essentials-other#essentials=overviewother)

For older version of Windows such as XP you should have "Outlook Express" (Not to be confused with Microsoft Outlook, which is a part of Microsoft Office)

After you decide which email client you would like to use, you can follow the email providers instructions. I'll assume for now you are wanting to check a gmail account since you posted your email address (Please refrain from posting emails on public sites when possible)

For gmail setup instructions you can follow this link to gmails settings page.

https://support.google.com/mail/troubleshooter/1668960?hl=en

Note: You will have to enable the POP / IMAP feature in your gmail settings before any mail will be sent to your client. All this information is covered in the instructions in the link I have provided.

Hi Ron, I (and many like me) would like to help you - But you need to provide more details - Like:

1. Are you using a Email client?
2. If so which one?

Any way - I am assuming that you are using a Email client (Like Outlook), and I think there is some problem with the configuration of your email client, Please consult manual of the client and check your configurations.
Thanks

Simple as that NO EMAIL even spam??

how do you access your email? do you access it using email client such as outlook? if so, you can isolate the issue by logging in directly to your account via web mail. if that works, then you just have to reconfigure your email client with the servers that needs to be used. please let me know if that is the case. i can help you configure your email client as well. just provide me details..

Error530 on email will not send mail

You need to make sure your email client is set up correctly. Contact your email provider and ask for the setup details (pop3, imap settings etc).

Also check that your firewall isn't blocking your email client.

You could also try providing more detail, and we'll be able to assist you easier and in more detail:

-Which email client are you using? (Outlook, outlook express, etc)
-Which email service are you using? (GMail, yahoo, etc)

I receive my emails via Outlook... and have doing

POP and SMTP Access service is active. Once configured, POP Access allows you to download, read, manage, and send your Net@ddress Messaging Center email on your computer, both online and offline, using your favorite email client.

IMAP and SMTP services are active. IMAP is a method of accessing your email messages that are kept on a mail server. Once configured, IMAP allows you to download, read, manage, and send your email Messaging Center email using your favorite email client while online or offline. Using an IMAP-compliant email client such as Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Express or Netscape Messenger, an IMAP user can access his/her email on the server from different locations, using both the IMAP client and the WebMail client. For example, when you read a message and store it in a special folder in your IMAP client while at work, you can access that message and folder while reading your email at home with the WebMail client or with another IMAP client without having to transfer messages or folders between computer stations.
