What inputs are you using, HDMI or A/V because RF has either air or cable and if you are using cable it could be that tuner bad, I would try all inputs you can and eliminate which is working.

Yes ofcourse you will get a clearer reception on any kind of televisions. I have seen Bulky flat screen tvs' give a lot better output after hooking up the box and with projection and Plasma tvs' its just mind blowing.. By the way i own a box too..

No signal using signal cable for some channels.

Some televisions, like some radios are more sensitive to signals than others.

If you are not using an antenna amplifier, adding one may help. I happen to be using an old antenna amplifier that was around during the days of analog and it works fine on digital. Plus I am about 75 miles from the nearest TV transmitter so I need to use one. They just simply have one input (from the antenna) and one output, (to the TV) and a power plug. There is not much to them.

Also checking the coax cables to make sure they are snug, they do not need to be torqued in footpounds of torqw, just snug. If you have the slip on kind, gently bend in one edge of that outer lip to make sure good contact is made as they will lose tension over time.

You should have no problem with satellite or cable if you add either in the future as those use a different input in most cases.

Digital labs 19 inch tv/dvd combo

Wish I knew the answer ... I have the same problem after switching to Dish Network (Satellite). It worked fine with Time Warner Cable. I'm suspecting the signal over Dish is analog (NTSC) which is not supported by this particular TV. I wish I still had the box and receipt!

Can't tune tv for ish netwrok

Ok based on the little info you gave you may need to place the cable from the dish box into the ant 2 connection on the tv, that is the analog cable connection, ant 1 is for digital tv only, also if you have rca jacks you need to change the source on the tv to av or svideo.
hope this helps.
let me know

Cancelled dish & hooked up rabbit ears. no local channels

Digital channels require a really strong signal to work well compared to analog. Can you get any analog channels through the tv itself? You will probably need to get a large antenna mounted outside to get these channels to work especially if you are a distance outside the city from where the broadcast is coming from. Sorry for the bad news. It is one of the bad things about the digital transition.

Digital Audio moved from TV/SAT to DVD/LD

Using the remote control, push the left arrow until display shows Coax1 (or 2, depending on your setup), then push the up arrow to set it to TV/SAT.
Conversely, depending on your setup, you can push the left arrow to display Comp1 (or2) then push the up arrow to set the correct video setting-- DVD/LD I assume.
