This is probably a plug in the suction side. if it is an upright with no hose, try removing the bottom where the brush is and look for an obstruction where the air goes up into the vacuum. On a canister vacuum check the wand then the hose for something inside blocking the air flow. On bag types, make sure the bag is not full or the inlet to the bag is not plugged. Hope this helps

Hi. If the screaming sounds like it's coming from the roller brush it could be a bad bearing. Take the brush off then turn machine on. If it stops screaming the problem is narrowed down, if not get back to me and we can go from there. Hope this helps, Chris

Hoover vacuum carpet cleaner will not sucktion (sic)

No, this cleaner uses no belts.
If you are having a suction problem, first check that the lid on the recovery tank is lined up to the tank when installed to get a good seal.
Second, remove the tank and make sure the round black rubber seal is present on the pipe from the base that aligns with the bottom of the recovery tank. That seal connects the vacuum from the motor to the recovery tank.

My dyson works only without the prefilter

Dyson's are terrible vacuums. Sure they look cool and may work for a couple months but they start to "fall apart" no more than a year. If you have pets, then i suggest you spend the money on a machine that won't break down or give you silly issues like a Dyson would. This vacuum is called a Miele Cat & Dog.

The brush spins but the the dirt is not getting into the bag. i cleaned the hoses now it's not sucking anything up.

If the motor is running you should get some kind of sucktion, if no sucktion or wont blow any air out, check the house making sure is clear of any obtruction, the best way is looking in the house by have one person hold one end and other pull the house straight and look to see any obstruction. if it seem clear, check the motor attach to the fan, yep you have to take the cover to the motor off with phillips screw driver in order to see what causing motor not to **** although the motor may not be attached to the fan; could be loose and not spining the fan to create any sucktion. hope that help some..good luck
