It sounds something else is wrong, try plugging out every pci, pci-e, and usb. If the problem still persist, try updating your motherboard driver and cmos driver.
If all the above fails, then you have a bad motherboard. Then there's nothing else you can do but buy a new pc or replace the motherboard.

This is my second touch pro 2, each has had the same problem. The battery goes dead, then the phone freezes and now the batter goes dead after 3 hours unhooked from a power source. I am locking the...

The batteries in those devices are Li-Ion battery (look it up on wikipedia, if you want chemical details). They are VERY sensitive to deep discharging.
They are composed of several cells - and even one deep-discharge can fry at least one. In that case, polarity in this particular cell drops and can even be reversed, rendering the battery useless.

That is why all phones switch themselves off way before that occurs - in theory. If the phone hangs, it cannot switch itself off and abovesaid happens.

So what you can do: First, get a new battery. Yours is bad. They are not expensive at amazon or similar.
Then, either
a) Prevent freezes. HTC Touch Pro 2's are not know to freeze out of blue sky (and mine rarely did), so I guess you keep on using an application that crashes you device. I suggest installing your apps one by one to see, which causes the crash. Meanwhile, rely on b).

b) Prevent deep-discharging. Keep it charged above 50% all the time until you are sure to get no more crashes. It will not hurt the battery to be charged often and only marginally to have that much capacity constantly.

There are usually many possible problems.
Sounds like you have low resources.
Not enough RAM
Or your processor is having problems.
Depending on your OS, and or programs you are using.
Freezing is a sign of a need to upgrade.
Your pc is likely slow.

If this is not the issue, then you should provide more info.

Computer freezes or crashes

Sounds like you may have some sort of Hardware problem. Possibly the Hard Drive may be bad. Go to Disk Utility in Applications >> Utilities >> Disk Utility  Select your HD in top LH corner of Disk Utility then click Verify Disk
OS X very seldom crashes or freezes unless it has some sort of Hardware issue.

Computer locks up suddenly & screen goes blank

Sounds as if you have an overheating problem, remove the side panels of your desktop and see if you get any longer before he crash. While the sides are off check the Heatsink and fan are'nt clogged with dust and check that the cables are not restricting the air flow. If the panels removed stop the crash, you may have to fit a system fan to remove hot air, they are only cheap and do the job. The worst case senario is a processor problem and will need replacing.
