All lights on panel stay lit up & pushing "stop" will not make them go off nor will opening the door make the lights go out. There is a "running/pumping" sound that does not go away. There is no water in the machine. The only way to get the running sound to stop and lights to go off is to cut off the main house breaker.

That's not much help, Dennis. You tell me it is the control panel but we are not repairmen and don't know where we get an Asko 1585 control panel. So, tell me where we get a control panel, how is it put in, etc. Thanks.

Hi

The issue is with the control board that is bad and should be replaced. Opening and closing the door did not help so the door switch-lock assembly appears to be fine, and the unit won't fill at all so it is the control board that is bad. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

Dennis....You can buy the part from this link and also I just checked this model is under recall....you can call Asko at 866-309-9921 & confirm with them by giving them your serial no before you start any kind of repair.

Check the sensors in the doorway. They must be pointed at one another and the small light on each one must be lit and not flickering. Tweak them a bit. If you cannot get both lights to come on you have bad sensors.

Hello, welcome to FixYa. If you can provide the model number (usually on inside of door frame or tub frame around door opening) and make/brand name, I'll see what I can find for you. It does sound like a door switch, but I'll need to clarify the make & model before moving forward. Regards, Macmarkus :)

The door opens when i push to open but when i push to close it starts to close until i stop pushing the button. When i release the button the garage door opens back and clicks 10 times

Check the door sensors. They must be pointed at one another and the small light on each one must be lit and not flickering. Tweak them a bit. If you cannot get both lights to come on you have either a bad sensor or the wiring to them is shorted or broken.

Check your door sensors. The need to be pointed at one another and make sure the small light on each one is lit and not flickering. Tweak them a bit. If you can't get both lights to come on one of your sensors has failed.
