My mother Bord "GA-790FXTA-UD5" NO Booting

I heard that if you are using an X6 Processor you need to have the Bios Updated, From what i have read so far the only way to do that is use a X3 or X4 that is compatible with the current Bios to boot up and update the Bios. This website http://us.test.giga-byte.com/Support/Motherboard/CPUSupport_Model.aspx?ProductID=3270&ver=#anchor_os Shows which processors are compatible with which Bios. And of course here is the website for the Bios updates http://us.test.giga-byte.com/Support/Motherboard/BIOS_Model.aspx?ProductID=3270&ver=#anchor_os

I ordered incorrect a 2x1024 mb RAM for my Giga-Byte GA-8VM800PMD-775 with 667 mhz(the ram).The motherboard only supports 533 max ,is it a way that i make it work ?

Hi,

Sometimes you can use faster RAM because it is usually backward compatible...but not always.

If the RAM doesn't work, there is nothing you can do to make it work.

If you can, get into the BIOS and see if it is detected at all. If not, you are out of luck.

If you would like to have guaranteed memory, I would suggest going to www.kingston.com or www.crucial.com

Thanks for using Fixya.

Gigabyte ga-81915me dual core support or not

Double check your model number. GA-8I915ME, its not the number 1 to the right of the 8. Its the letter, capitial i.
I did not find your excat model number at Gigabyte, open link below;
http://www.giga-byte.com/Search/Search_List.aspx?Keyword=GA-8I915ME&SearchType=Spec Of the three listed I picked,
GA-8I915ME-C. Than I checked the CPU supported link;
http://www.giga-byte.com/Support/Motherboard/CPUSupport_Model.aspx?ProductID=1954
The GA-8I915ME-C Motherboard supports both dual core & Core 2 Quad.

Hope you find this helpful.
Cheers!

Probably means that the hard drive is full, and that there is not enough virtual memory available (virtual memory is on the Hard Drive).

Too much memory for Giga-Byte K8M800-8237

The issue of this is not too much capacity on your memory., i tell you the problem is incompatible both of them. Check again your memory and what brand are there.
Because something motherboard settings are being notify if reliable to you to use different kind of RAM you have. Read the motherboard manual to find out some settings to enable both of them are not the same brand or model.
