Hi

The knocking could be the damper if it last for about 5 seconds when the compressor turns on or off, or it can also be the refrigerant gassing off in the evaporator this sound can be really intermittent, but is normal with the refrigerants used today. However the compressor you see is actually the outer shell, inside of which is a refrigerant pump (i.e.: compressor) which is on internal support springs. When the unit turns off, the momentum of the internal parts can sometimes knock against the outside of the compressor case. The only "fix" would be a new compressor. However this does not actually indicates compressor failure and most likely will run many more years with no problem.

Please get back to us if you have further query else please accept the suggestion.

How do I sort the knocking sound on this machine hp laserjet M5033 MFP

Knocking usually means the gears are not turning the cartridge rollers properly. This would be why it probably doesn't knock with the door open when you run a motor test.
Take the Cartridge out, close the door, and and let the motors turn and see if it knocks still. While you close the door look to see if there is a gear that protrudes from one side as the door closes. If the gear does not come out when the door is closed then it will not turn the cartridge rollers and would cause the knock. Also, if the gear does come out but does not link up to the cartridge fully it can cause the same kind of sound. You would also get a similar result if the gear's teeth are stripped out on the drive side of the gear.
Many models do not have that type of drive gear. They may have a drive gear on the left side of the cartridge compartment. Look at that to see if it show wear and tear.

Sounds like something came loose on inside of door. People who lock there keys in thier car always try to unlock the doors with coat hangers and all kinds of stuff. Sometimes it knocks the clips loose inside the door and causes handle to not open door. Sometime they just wear out. I believe your going to have to take the inside door panel off to fix it..

How do I stop the loud knocking noises coming from my refridgerator?

Pull the fridge away from the wall and inspect the compressor. Your description sounds like the compressor is hitting something. It is rubber mounted and usually can be pushed away from whatever it is hitting. You do not want to jamb something to stop the noise, as the compressor needs to move freely. Many compressors shake during start up and shutdown, and this is considered normal. Abnormal if the compressor hits something during this movement.

As strange as this sounds look for a stuck key. Usually it is something like a shift key.If you can't see anything obvious try this. Tip the laptop upside down and knock on the bottom under the keyboard just like you were knocking on a door. That is usually enough to dislodge a stuck key.

Our Kenmore side by side refrigerator(#106 5682 603) has developed an occasional knocking sound - fairly loud. I obtained a new water filter from "filtersfast.com" and have recently changed this filter...

If it sounds like it may be coming from the back of the freezer, it is the refrigerant "popping" as in feeds into the evaporator. Some models have this issue and there is a "fix" for it. (yours may not be this one though). Although the sound is annoying, it doesn't really hurt anything. That's not to say the icemaker isn't making the noise, or something else. But I am not sure where it is coming from.

Sounds like something is knocking around in the back of the washer. On the spin cycle, the noise is very loud anyway, but it sounds like there is something banging around inside. The drum moves around...

ok open the door
make sure the thing is empty
try to move the inner tub
if you can shke it side to side anything but around
you have a broken spinner support
