The drum paddles have came loose from the machine

Have all drum paddles come loose? Generally there is one anchor bolt accesed through on of the paddle holes, usually the third from the front. Press down and away from you towards the back of the machine and tighten the bolt
The paddles have slots on there underside and coresponding hooks on the drum of the machine, hence the "push down and away" action to hook up the paddles.

Hope this helps

The toilet seat is very loose and I can't figure out how to tighten it. Please help! Its about to come off completely Thanks

Usually there are plastic caps that snap down over the bolt head.
Shut toilet lid and get down close with a flashlight.

Seat attaches in two places.
Reach underneath and you can feel two bolts with nuts.
You don't need to see them, just feel with your hand.

The bolt head is covered with a plastic cover.
The cover is added for aesthetic purpose only.
Use small screwdriver or fingernail file or nail or scissors to pry up the cover and reveal bolt head.

Use bigger screwdriver to tighten bolts.
You may have to keep one hand on underside to hold nut while turning bolt clockwise.
Another trick is use hand to push bolt all the way up, and then finger tighten bolt most of the way, and use screwdriver for last few turns.

Tighten bolts good and tight, but don't overdo it.
Bolts will come loose again and you can tighten more later.

Drum is loose

Hello There
whenever the wash drum becomes loose this is caused by the bolt that holds the drum on the shaft loosening this is fairly common. All you will need to do is to first remove the cover on the center of the tub and then look inside and you will see the bolt. now get the proper size socket and try to tighten it as much as possiable or contact the manufacture to see if there is any torque specs for this now jsut replace the cover piece and retry the machine ok
Hope this is very helpful for you if needed please feel free to post me a comment if you have any more questions ok?
Best regards Michael

Hi ive got a wf840 washer and its got noisey lately so ive had a look and it feels as if the drum inside has came loose so i took the top of to have a look and there seems no way in to tighten it up the...

There is no adjustment provided for adjusting or tightening drum.
The drum is held in place by 2 springs at the top of the drum,
Sometimes these can break
At the bottom end, the drum is fastened to the base of the washer by 2 shock absorbers, these can break loose or wear.
These can all be replaced with out removing the interior drum assy.
The other possibility is that the drum bearings have failed, this would also make it very noisy.

Maytag ensignia dryer MDE7657BYQ. Are the flaps

yes it can be tightened, you would have to take off the door, there should be 2 screws on left and 2 on right, then you would have to take off the dark brown like bolt on the left and right, there is a long L shape clip that holds top to front. Once you lift top tightened the bolt or add a bolt to the baffles..

Fin / paddle has come loose in the drum.

Hi,

The paddles are the plastic things inside the metal drum. they are held in by tabs that slide into slots in the drum and a metal tab from the drum flips over a ledge underneath the paddle.
if its loose you may need to replace it, they are available as a spare part and come with instructions. you will need to varify which version you have by counting the bumps on the end of the padle, should be 2 or 3.
basically you put a small screwdriver down on of the holes in the top of the paddle, i think the 3rd one, to push the metal drum tab down enough to be able to pull the paddle towards you and out of it's slots. carefull not to push the tab down too far as it will bend inside the drum and isd pain to bend back again.

Any further help, Let me know.

Shock or stablizer drum

Power of the wall socket first. Unscrew the shock or 'damper' completely as it is known, noting position, head tail. Test it, it should not be pumping very loose, if so you should replace it. Otherwise just put it back in and tighten the bolts well.

Maytag Washer leaking from front

If I remember correctly, you need to remove the drum to get at the bolt that you are talking about. There is a rubber washer that provides the seal. The locking collar on the hub is Left hand thread. If you work at it you can get it loose.

Trouble with Indesit WI 102 washing machine

I had trhe same problem and was going deaf!!! I know this is probably too late for your machine but it may be usefull to someone else with this model.

Originally thought the bearings had gone but had great trouble trying to source some through UK websites so decided to strip the machine. Did this by touch (no manual!) and eventually found that the bolts holding the bottom weight to the drum had all come loose (all 3!). Trying to access them to tighten was the biggest problem as the front of the machine is welded on.

Managed the above by removing the rubber door seal from the door only and tightening two of the bolts from inside the door. The third I managed to access from beneath the machine. All were tightened using 10mm socket on a bar with extension (curtain pole!) slid over the end.

During this process I had the machine on its side, removed the securing brackets, top weight + springs and wedged the drum from beneath and the side as much towards the rear of the machine as possible to aid access.

Good Luck!

Loose drum!!!!

inner drum is tightened usually with a bolt thro the main pulley (sometimes a nut) but this is unlikely to be the problem. suspect you bearings have worn.
