Our MAC 1200 ekg machine prints out 1 empty sheet prior to printing the actual ekg. Is there a way to eliminate that first page? It wastes a ton of paper. thanks, Dan

hi,

1.Press the setup Button
2.Select operating mode and press enter.
3. Repatedly perss the down arrow until it reaches to the "START AT QUEUE MARK" and perss enter. Then select NO and press enter ( if it is selected Yes then before each recording the recorder advance the paper to the beginning of the next page)
4. Press the Start button to exit the setup.
From the next EKG it will print from the first page.
ok

Schiller AT-Plus, I cannot get all leads to print in sequence I avr v1 v4 II avl v2 v5 III avf v3 v6 not sure what a student did to change the...

The unit is apparently printing out in Cabarra sequence. To restore the correct lead sequence, do the following: Hit the ALT key followed by 7 then 1, hen the stop key. This will restore standard lead sequencing.
That is the start of the battle. If you desire a 3+1ryth format with a lead 2 at the bottom, which is our standard format, then you have more to do. For this format hit the ALT key followed by 1 then 0 followed by the stop key.to set the ryth lead to lead II at the bottom of the page, hit ALT followed by 3 then 8 then 2 followed by the stop key. If your filters are not enabled hit Alt 5 6 stop, alt 5 8 stop, Alt 8 3 stop, ALT 8 1 stop.Do a test print after all of this and be certain the unit is configured to your taste prior to a live patient.

Paper starts then stops before printing results

most likely wrong paper or a bad optical sensor. There are actually 2 or 3 different versions of the mac 1200 all of which might need different paper. if you tell me the serial umber of your unit and the part number for the paper you are using I can tell you what is the correct paper.

GE MAC1000ekg not printing clearly . My EKG machine is recording the EKG well but when I print it comes out very faded.

The heat on the print head can fade over time giving you a poor print. also the feed roller can wear and give poor pressure to the print head. thw way to diagnose it is to put a peice of electrical tape on the print roller and print an ekg. if it prints well in the area where the tape was, it is the print roller. if there is no change it is the print head.

The printer stop when you request to print out and in auto mode print only seconds time

check to see if the power light goes off when that happens. it sounds like the battery will need to be replaced.

Lower half or EKG would not print properly

You should purchase a printer kit. This is a common problem I have encoutntered on this machine and this machine is identical to the Seca CT6I. I have ordered the printer kit from Seca in the UK, the part number is 9740490024 at a cost of £70. It is a straightforward repair.

I ahve a schiller welch allen EKG machine, and now it only prints

If it stops printing completely in the middle of doing the print, it is because the battery is bad and needs to be replaced.
If it only prints some of the leads but it does print the full report it is because you have the leads mixed up (Wrong spot on the patient) or the leads are mislabeled or some of the clips or electrodes are bad.
I can fix these. Let me know if you need help.
