Ussually pending tire ratings, it is the tire of wich is only balanced for certain speeds up to 80 mph. Have it balanced for 105-125 MPH of wich will resolve the problem. Z rated tires will be easier to balance for this speed. So take it to your local tire shop. If the problem somehow prersists, check your half shafts coming out of the tranny to the wheels. Their joints might already be worn out and need replacing.

98 Honda crv transmission between 20-45 mph let up on the gas and accelerate there is a rumble, bank clank noise if I dtep harder it stops what is the cause

It is more than likely some of the bearings in the transmission are worn, when you step on the gas it puts pressure on the bearings thus noise stops but it will get worse and eventually collapse get repaired now to avoid further damage. Topsi

Intermittent rumbling sound in transmission at ~30 mph when going uphill and easing up a little on the gas. very much like driving over a rumble strip on the highway like they put in front of toll booths....

Do you have the problem when you turn on the car as well? I had this same problem, turns out the alternator was going bad. A few months later the alternator went. After the alternator was replaced, the problem went away.

2000 Lincoln LS rumble from 40 - 45 mph

See If the pitch changes when you swerve the car from left to right. You don'e have to swerve hard enough to scareanyone, just enough to load one side more than another. If the pitch changes, you likly have a bad wheel bearing or tire. Tires will make any noise a wheel bearing will so switch tires first side to side and see if the problem fgollows the tires. If not then check the wheel bearing.
Also and maybe first:

The fact that the noise is limited to such a narrow speed could also indicate an aerodynamic issue such as a roof rack or bike rack or somthing like that having moved and is now vibrating.

Had the same problem on a 2007 Corolla. The check engine light was on, had hard shifts, and a DTC code of P2716. The computer had to be updated. I would take it in and ask them about this TSB.
