You lost your constant power (the yellow wire). check all your fuses and then test the constant factory wire. if you dont have a constant wire then use a scotch lock and tap into you constant wire at your ignition harness.

How do you se a radio station and preset it on a 2011 elantra. We have preset stations but every time we stop the car the stations are not preset, we have to do it over again.

Did you put an aftermarket radio in the car? If so, it sounds like the yellow wire is not going to a constant power source. The yellow wire needs to go to a source that still has 12v when the key is turned off to retain memory for the clock and presets.

I have a panasonic car radio but when you preset your stations they work but then when you turn engine off for a few minutes they are lost cant figure it out drivin me mad

The red wire should be connected to the ignition/start system.Yellow wire should be connected straight to direct battery power(constant it's called). If the yellow wire is not hooked up to that, you will always lose your presets and clock when you turn off the car.Did you install it?If you need some info to do it,I will need the make/model of your car please.Just comment here and I will get an autolink to your post.Good luck!
