Question about Heating & Cooling
If the pilot light is going out, then it could be one of two things. Either a draft blowing the pilot light out. Or the thermal couple is bad. The thermal couple is the little rod that the pilot light heats. It is directly above the flame of the pilot light. This is what tells the gas valve to stay open and supply the pilot with gas. If it is a draft, you should see the pilot light blowing. If this is the case. Then look for where the draft is coming from and get it sealed up. But usually it is the thermal couple.
