Hello,
I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure. Even though the belts and filters have been changed it sounds to me that you may have broken a fan and when that happens it sounds like a air craft and it is very loud. You don’t want to continue to use it that way, a fan would cost between approx $10.00 to $20.00 plus labor to install B4 it does anymore damage otherwise the vacuum should be just fine if you just had it serviced. So if you need further assistance, please feel free to contact your local vacuum cleaner dealer in your area or in the yellow pages, or contact the factory phone number or website to further assist you with your questions.

Hello- My wand has lost a lot of it's suction. I am sure it's clogged somewhere. I cleaned everything after watching a video on U Tube, but it is still not sucking properly. My model is the Dyson DC28...

You do have a clog ... I feel certain. I have never worked on a Dyson. Please continue with your disassembly until you find that wad of chewing gum and cat hair and tell us how you did it.

Im sure you will find a clog somewhere in the air stream

Thanks for your question.

Pump fills with air and suction is lost. seems

There is a gasket on the air duct that can move and allow ari to be sucked in. Go to the following site and click "view larger":

This will open a seperate window showing some pictures, one of which shows the gasket on the air duct. Make sure its seated properly.

Oreck Celoc Hypo Allergenic Vac tearing up rug

Most parts and service are covered on those machines for a year. (the 5 year part is just the motor and some "fluff" for advertising purposes) I would call oreck and find the nearest warranty service center. You should find they will fix it at no charge as long as its not deemed "abuse".

If you call them and they will not help, repost and we'll get you fix'd up!

Best of Luck!

It's plugged!

If it happened suddenly, you have a jam somewhere. Unhook the hose to see if it's in the hose or the unit.

If it happened over time then it's likely dirty or full. Wet dirt can accumulate near the blower and inhibit suction. Cleaning the filter is almost always a good idea.

Best to you, Jidza

Hello,
I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure. The best thing to do is to see if you can open the power mate or powerhead, the sock is jammed in there and blocking the path of the dust and dirt. There should be some screws on the bottom to release the bottom plate or the top cover will come off, it would be one or the other It probably is stick in the gooseneck the swivel neck portion of the vacuum and or the wands or hose. If you need further help look in the owner’s manual or contact your local vacuum cleaner dealer in your area or call Sears cust serv listed below. So if you need further assistance, please feel free to contact your local vacuum cleaner dealer in your area or in the yellow pages, or contact the factory phone number or website to further assist you with your questions.

I have the Hoover Deluxe Elite Rewind with the 24 ft cord reel. I can't seem to find the instructions or model # exactly for it. The vacuum is just over a month old but when I turn it on now it's not sucking at the bottom and the hose and everything else appears to be attached so I don't know why it's not working.

Hello,
I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure.
You Hoover Deluxe Elite Rewind sound like it is still under the factory warranty of one year and I would not attempt to fix it yourself because you will void the warranty. Suggest bringing it to a authorized Hoover Factory Dealer for the cordwinder, as far as it not sucking it sounds to me that you have a clog of some sort and that is not covered under the factory warranty, but does not cost much to get it unclogged. The average belt change is every 4 to 6 months, and to keep the brushroll clean and spinning freely. If you have further questions feel free to contact your local vac dealer. So if you need further assistance, please feel free to contact your local vacuum cleaner dealer in your area or in the yellow pages, or contact the factory phone number or website to further assist you with your questions.

Hello,
I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure.
Normally if your vacuum has a round belt you may have your belt on backwards, please reverse the belt and the suction will return also you may have a clog in the tube leading up to the bag or dirt cup would be anther reason for the blowing instead of suction. This is not covered under the factory warranty. Feel free to contact your local vacuum dealer for questions.

HOOVER SPINSCRUB WONT SUCK UP WATER...BLOWING AIR OUT

ITS THE DUCT PIECE ON THE FRONT OF THE DIRTY WATER TANK (DWT). ITS NOT LINED UP.
1. TAKE LID OFF OF DWT
2. SLIDE THE LITTLE SQUARE PIECE (5'X5'X1) (THE DUCT) ON THE FRONT OF THE DWT AS FAR UP AS POSSIBLE AND IF IT BENDS FORWARD FROM THE TOP, DO THAT TOO (SOME MODELS OPEN LIKE A DOOR TOP DOWN, OTHERS JUST SLIDE UP AND OUT COMPLETELY)
3. SLIDE THAT DUCT BACK DOWN AS FAR DOWN AND BACK AS IT WILL GO.
4. PUT THE LID BACK ON BY HINGING THE FRONT LATCHES ON AND THEN SNAPPING THE BACK SIDE DOWN.
5. CHECK TO SEE IF THAT DUCT PIECE ON THE FRONT IS LOOSE BY PUSHING ON IT AND SEEING IF IT MOVES UP AND DOWN.
IF IT IS, THE LID ISNT COMPLETELY ON, GO BACK TO STEP 4.
IF THE DUCT IS SNUG, CONGRATS YOU SHOULD HAVE JUST MADE YOUR STEAM VAC **** UP THE WATER AGAIN
