I carry my walkman in a gym bag and, from time to time, the button gets pressed, it comes on, and the batteries run down. Is there any way to keep this thing from inadvertently turning on?

the only thing i can think of from preventing this problem again is to put the device on hold....use the hold button on the side and you should not have to qorry about it turning on on it own & low battery ever again
