I have two solutions for you.

(1) Start your PC and as soon as you start start pressing F8 again and again. You will see a menu. From the menu select "Boot in safe mode" Select that and try to enter the Windows an uninstall any driver or software that you have installed just recently, This software or driver may be your problem.
(2)Insert the CD/DVD and boot from it and start repairing your Windows.

Good Luck!

Start button does not activate door lock and will not turn on

It may be a micro switch that is not engaging. Try pushing on the door to see if that solves the problem. If so, put in a spacer to push the switch more.

Hello there,

here is what you can do:
  • Press and hold both the "Stop/Reset" and the "Power" buttons on your printer.
  • Release the "Stop/Reset" button.
  • Push the "Stop/Reset" button two times, while continuing to press the "Power" button.
  • Release the "Power" button. Your printer is now in Service mode.
  • Push the "Stop/Reset" button four times

Hope this helps

My dryer is locked and I have a tub full of wet clothes. Sorry, can't find the manual how to fix.

If it's your washer that is locked, the manual suggests you press the START/PAUSE/UNLOCK button. It says the lid will unlock once the washer movement stops and it might take several minutes if it was spinning at a high speed. You can resume the cycle by pushing the Start/pause/unlock button again.
I really hope this is the answer you need. There is nothing more frustrating than a load of wet laundry. If this helps, please come back to Fixya and rate my advice. Thanks and good luck!

Have a problem loging in as i have forgotten my password

Hi crazy,

The windows passwords are not easily by passable so follow the steps below and we should get you running.

first we have to start your pc in safe mode, nothing to worry about we are just starting you up in a way where nothing loads and your screen may look a bit weird but that’s normal.

  1. If the computer is running, shut down Windows, and then turn off the power
  2. Wait 30 seconds, and then turn the computer on.
  3. Start tapping the F8 key. The Windows Advanced Options Menu appears. If you begin tapping the F8 key too soon, some computers display a "keyboard error" message. To resolve this, restart the computer and try again.
  4. Ensure that the Safe mode option is selected.
  5. Press Enter. the computer then begins to start in Safe mode.
Once you can see the users screen you should see an extra login name called “administrator” click on that. Now hopefully at this point no one has put a password on the “administrator” account.

Once you are in windows you can go to:

Start Menu> Control Panel> User accounts to change anything on the other accounts, like passwords, pictures and even delete accounts that you may not want.
Please stop back if you have any further questions. I am always happy to help.
